The following restrictions are imposed on the delivery of gas oil.- Buyers and sellers
Only the following parties are allowed to take part in the physical delivery of gas oil.
Sellers: Motouri Companies*1 Buyers: Motouri Companies, Tokuyaku Companies*2 with TOCOM membership, Registered Gas Oil Receiving Companies*3 (Tokuyaku Companies without TOCOM membership) *1 Motouri Companies are those who fall under the two categories defined in the Japanese Local Government Tax Law; "Motouri" Companies as defined in 2 of Item 1, Paragraph 2, Article 700, and "Toroku Tokubetu Choshu Gimusha" in 3 of Item 3, Paragraph 11, Article 700. *2 Tokuyaku Companies are those who fall under the two categories defined in the Japanese Local Government Tax Law; "Tokuyaku" Companies as defined in 3 of Item 1, Paragraph 2, Article 700, and "Toroku Tokubetu Choshu Gimusha" in 3 of Item 3, Paragraph 11, Article 700. *3 The maximum amount of delivery lots Registered Gas Oil Receiving Companies can take is three lots per each contract month. - Notification
TOCOM will notify the relevant authorities, such as tax authorities, of information regarding the delivery of gas oil (including the names of sellers and buyers, delivery points, etc.). - Registered Gas Oil Receiving Company
The registration is required with TOCOM to become a Registered Gas Oil Receiving Company.
